I developed, designed and delivered this remote learning course and associated instructional materials for remote learners in field offices of a nationwide broker dealer.
Goal:
To achieve early adoption of electronic signature and online form processing in order to reduce overall operations costs for processing paper forms.
Learning objective:
To help employee and remote office learners achieve foundational understanding of the process of sending electronic forms to clients for electronic signature using Docusign technology.

I was part of the technology project management team building and implementing the electronic signature functionality into the online platform and account opening forms for field office users.
My role as part of the technology project team was to design, storyboard, develop and deliver an instructor led learning course and associated course materials for employees and field office learners.
I met with subject matter experts as part of the technology project team to gain an understanding of the new process and functionality as part of the existing platform.
Storyboarding
I then worked to design a storyboard using Microsoft Word for my storyboard outlines. Then, I used PowerPoint to map out scenes to illustrate each of these new processes for accessing the new Docusign portal, adding online forms to the Docusign portal and how to track the forms using the new Docusign portal.
I used my storyboard template and structure as the baseline for this course.
I then, created a new PowerPoint slide presentation for use during the live instructor led webinar.
Next, I wrote the course narration and scripting for each of my scenes. I added the narration and scripting to my PowerPoint presentation in the notes fields of each slide.
I then worked to write, design and create instructional How-to guides in Microsoft Word to illustrate these processes in a written format.
Solution
I delivered the weekly live Instructor-led webinars via Webex at least twice per week for nationwide field learners.
I also delivered a self-paced e-Learning course via our LMS and multiple electronic signature process How-to Guides in the form of pdf files.
I delivered and presented this course in the form of a workshop at several national conference events as well.
My learning webinars and the national conference session was highly rated by participants.
As a result, the learning program helped to achieve early adoption of the new technology, which resulted in cost savings by lowering overall operations costs for paper forms processing for the organization.
