To help new employee remote learners around the globe to gain a foundational understanding of key terms, concepts and system navigation of the Investment Management Solution.

Business Needs Analysis

The existing new hire training program was limited to the physical office training room.  New employees learners were required to travel to the headquarters office location and attend in-person which was costly and time consuming.  

Also, feedback provided on course surveys from previous new hire learning attendees indicated that the existing course curriculum was somewhat difficult for learners to understand.  

I partnered with subject matter experts to gain understanding of the Investment Management Solution goals and objectives for new hire employee learners.

I also met with business leaders to explore and strategize ways which we could offer a new remote-based new hire learner experience.

Storyboarding

Then, I designed a storyboard for each week's topics which would be included in the new course offering.  I used Microsoft PowerPoint for my storyboarding.  

I also wrote all of the scripting and narration in the same storyboard PowerPoint slides in the notes section.  These speaker notes are what I used as I facilitated the remote instructor-led courses.  

This same storyboarding and scripting is also what I used for the self-paced eLearning remote course voice over narration.
