The Development Process
Business Needs Analysis
Business development reporting metrics were showing that there may be a gap in employee knowledge and understanding of how to most effectively leverage technology tools and time management skills.
In order to determine the best methodology and strategize what kind of learning solution would work best to address these learning gaps I met with business development leaders and subject matter experts across the organization.
I organized, coordinated meeting times and met with subject matter experts across the organization to assess and become familiar with the existing tools and resources available for time and territory management in the organization.
Next, I interviewed specific individual employees who had achieved success in developing opportunities in their territories. I interviewed each individual to learn about the tools, time management skills and best practices they had been incorporating into their daily processes.
During the data gathering process, I documented all of my findings using Microsoft OneNote and Word.
Then, I analyzed all of my data to determine a strategy and a learning program which would be designed to address these learning gaps and improve knowledge and understanding of technology tools and time management skills for business development associates.
Storyboarding
I outlined a course storyboard using Microsoft Word for the initial outline.
Then, I used my written content from my MS Word outline of each topic and wrote new content which could be applied in the form of a Jeopardy game.
I then, worked to apply my learning content to a PowerPoint course game template using an existing Jeopardy PowerPoint game template which I sourced online.
